Note! For older children, Vanilla Copenhagen's swim vest does not have an adjustable crotch strap for maximum freedom of movement.

It is important to ensure that the floatation elements are adapted to the child's level to provide sufficient buoyancy.

The swim vest has eight inner foam floats that assist natural buoyancy in the water, making it easier for the child to move around and swim in the pool or ocean.

You can easily adjust the buoyancy by removing some of the floats from the inner pockets in the vest. When the child is at the right level, they will be able to control their buoyancy easily.

The correct level is when the child is at the same level as you are treading water, with the water around the shoulders.

IMPORTANT! Always remove the floats in pairs, starting with 1 and 1, then 2 and 2, etc. When the child is completely comfortable with the water and able to swim, all floats can be removed.
